Description
The Wild Riders of Chogoris. The Sons of Jaghatai. The White Scars.
Done in ball-point pen in about 2 hrs.
This was actually smaller than the others, mostly because I was uncertain if the power lance would then fit the entire paper (*Arkeeva scolded me for not planing my pictures better, so now I am).
It might also seem strange to draw a White Scar without his bike, and in such a static pose. The reason is mostly because I wanted to highlight the difference between this chapter and the Space Wolves. They are both barbaric chapters, with a history on rather backwards worlds. But where the Space Wolves are the unruly vikings of 40k, the White Scars are highly disciplined, their ferocity akin to a welding flame, released when necessary. They enjoy the hunt, especially from bike-saddle, but there is restraint in their actions.
Also, power tulwars are the most awesome thing. Wicked shit.
