Iron Warriors Squad Aleph by Belazikkal Iron Warriors Squad Aleph by Belazikkal
So, my first squad of Iron Warrior marines.

I've decided that their equipment is, beyond the basic stuff as laid down in Codex Chaos Space Marines, is 2 plasma guns and an Icon of Chaos Glory.
No Asp. Champion with Power fist because that's now a waste of points.

The iron armour was painted as follows:
Tin Bitz drybrush -> Boltgun Metal drybrush -> Badab Black wash -> Boltgun metal layered over ->Chainmail highlights.

Any questions? Feel free to ask!

Overall good work, again. But for my taste they are to clean.

I'm more attracted to the idea of the Iron Warriors as battlefield pragmatics, rather than the techno-barbarism. To each his own, I guess.

wasnt meaned in that way. I tried to say, that the Iron Warriors didnt conquered Hydra Cordatus on a Flower field. The Crawled in the dirty, even maybe wet, trenches. If I wanted some Slaughteres, iŽve would worshiped Khorne.

I Like the Idea of Surgical Bombing, planing and all that but... well. YouŽll get a mess when you enter a battlefield. Hope you get my point. :)

I know. But battle-damage as scratches and such won't show up on metallics any way ;)

As for the dirt and grime: Not confident in my drybrushing enough to dare to do that without ending up with an ungodly mess!

Indeed, "Tin Bitz" is a lovely paint. I have to restrain myself whenever I use it, keep myself from overdoing it. It looks wonderful when used sparingly.

It's a wonderful base metallic. Covers well and works for both silver and gold metallics. Luvely luvely Tin Bitz.
