EDIT: Now changed format to make it look more Black Library. This as well as the other 40k stories of mine have been updated to this. Exceptions happen when dA is assholish.
This is a gift fiction for the great ~annemarie, author of a fantastic little tale of intrigue known as Incubi Umbraeque. It features hypocritical inquisitors and plotting sorcerors. Go read.
I did this for her, partially because the idea of my Xavier and Osis Pathoth, her Tzeentchian sorceror, sparring amuses me, and because she managed to correctly guess which of all the mortals in the 88th Steel Legion that Xavier would attach himself to most closely, in time.
It's fairly short and to the point. Annemarie wanted plots within plots, and I think I managed it.
